Vous souhaitez faire une bonne action en achetant un produit super sympa ? KISANY, marque belge engagée, et Thea s’associe pour vous proposer 2 indispensable de votre été 2022!
KISANY is a Belgian brand of hand-embroidered household linen that combines quality materials, innovative design and unrivalled craftsmanship.
A highly committed brand, KISANY's mission is to provide training in top-of-the-range handicrafts, and to give work and independence to African women heads of household in Goma in DR Congo and Kigali in Rwanda. Thanks to their work, these women are able to get on with their lives, regain their dignity and enable their families to develop in a better environment.
Sharing these values and this commitment to solidarity, Thea Jewelry is proud to be working with this magnificent brand and to be able to offer two co-designed kits.
Available in 2 colours, these bags are emblazoned with the words "Madame Rayonne", a symbol of good vibes, joy and self-love. When you open the case, you'll discover that the inside is lined with a summery patterned fabric, giving it a punchy feel.
It takes a total of 15 hours to make a kit.
We would like to thank our wonderful embroiderers for their magnificent work:
- Odile 29, 3 children married
- Justine 38, 6 children married
- Esther 46, 4 children married
- Gisèle 33, 2 children married
- Espérance 43, 5 children widow
- Louise 56, 4 children woman living alone
- Ishara 26, single
- Jeannette 53, 9 children married
The big advantage of this collab is its commitment.
With KISANY, we have decided to donate 50% of the profits from sales to EN AVANT LES ENFANTS (EALE), an ASBL partner, as part of their Agro-ecology training programme run by partner HAD asbl in Goma, Republic of Congo.
The aim of the training under this programme is to help girls and mothers aged between 16 and 25, who are responsible for a large number of people, to get out of the extremely precarious situation in which they find themselves, by enabling them to acquire basic skills in market gardening, grafting, planting, beekeeping and raising hens and rabbits. The aim of the 6-month training course is to help communities recover through income-generating activities.
You can find these two kits on our website in the " Co-creations " !
