Vous vous demandez surement ce qui se cache derrière la fabrication de vos créations et pourquoi nos délais sont aussi long. Le processus de création d’un bijou n’est plus compliqué que ce qu’on pense.
In our desire to be 100% transparent with our customers, we have decided to reveal every stage in the journey of your jewel, from ordering to delivery.
- How it's made
Once the order has been placed, our artisan jeweller receives the information needed to create the jewellery. As the jewellery is entirely customisable, it is not created by mass-produced machines.
Texts, metals and settings differ from one order to the next, so everything is made to measure, by hand, by our artisan jeweller. That's why production can take up to 6 weeks.
- Quality control
Quality is paramount at Thea Jewelry. We do our utmost to deliver a perfect creation.
Once the jewellery has been made, it is sent to our Fosbury and Sons offices. Our Production Manager, Charlotte, then checks the jewellery. She checks that the size, metal, setting and text are correct, to make sure that the jewel is exactly what you want. She also checks that the jewel has not been damaged during its transfer from the workshop to our offices by post. A certificate of authenticity will be created for jewellery in gold, silver or with precious stones.
If there is a mistake, we send the jewel directly back to the workshop to correct it.
- Order preparation
After being checked and cleaned one last time, the jewel is placed in a protective case made from 100% recycled materials. The case is then placed in a small bag made of recycled paper, and everything is packed in a recycled cardboard mailing box.
Orders can be accompanied by a personalised note to be slipped into the little bag with the box. It's important to specify this in the comments when you place your order!
It is important to us that your creation travels in the best possible conditions and that it is well protected.
- Shipment of orders
Your jewellery is sent to Belgium by BPost. If the jewel has a destination other than Belgium, the national postal service of the recipient country will take over once the Belgian border has been crossed.
Unfortunately, once the jewel has been taken care of by the service provider, we no longer have control over the delivery time, as it depends on their lead times. We apologise in advance for any delays caused and we remain at your disposal for any information you may require on the progress of your order by e-mail to: hello@thea-jewelry.com
